Elora Gorge
The Elora Gorge is a truly beautiful geographical phenomenon which offers spectacular 80 ft. cliffs, the rapids and falls of the Grand River, picnic areas, recreation, scenic overlooks and magnificent riverside trails. For more information visit:
Elora Cataract Trailway
The trail is owned by the Credit Valley and Grand River Conservation Authorities. It is 47 Km. long, and links the Grand and Credit River watersheds. Built upon an abandoned CP Railway, this multi-use trail wanders through both forest and farmer's fields. Perfect for bicycling in the summer, and cross country skiing in the winter! Elora Quarry
The Elora Quarry is not only a beautiful site and great place for a picnic, it is our local swimming hole too, with a 0.8 hectare (two acre) former limestone quarry encircled by sheer cliffs up to 12 metres (40 feet) high. This 79 acre (32 hectare) day-use conservation area is tree covered. For more information visit:
Wellington County Museum & Archives
This National Historic Site was built in 1877 as the House of Industry and refuge, to provide shelter for the "deserving poor". Elora Festival
The Elora Festival is a glorious summertime tradition. For 27 years, the Festival has hosted some of the world’s most engaging artists against a backdrop of rural resplendence. Fergus Truck Show
The Fergus Truck Show has grown to be North America’s largest truck show, both in paid attendance and the number of the big truck ‘Show & Shine’ contestants.
